Gail Emms is Business Development Manager for Franklyn Elite Sports, working alongside Will Cliff to help connect professional athletes with the right financial advice and support throughout their careers and beyond. Drawing on her extensive network within the sporting world, Gail is passionate about helping athletes plan for their financial futures and make the most of the opportunities available to them both during and after their time in sport.
Gail knows first-hand what it takes to compete at the highest level, having enjoyed an outstanding badminton career. She is an Olympic silver medallist and a former World, European and Commonwealth Champion in mixed doubles. Her experience of elite sport gives her a unique understanding of the challenges athletes face and the importance of having the right people around them, both on and off the court.
Away from work, Gail is a proud mum of two boys, a lifelong Tottenham Hotspur supporter and still very much involved in sport, representing GB in over-50s padel tennis. When she’s not on court or cheering on Spurs, you’ll often find her enjoying house music and dancing to her favourite DJs!
