Franklyn Football Match 2026 Raises Over £8,000 for Stoke City Foundation
On Tuesday 26th May, we were delighted to host our annual Franklyn Football Match at the Bet365 Stadium, bringing together Stoke City legends, supporters and the local community for an afternoon of football and fundraising.
The match saw the return of some familiar faces, with former Stoke City icons Erik Pieters, Liam Lawrence, Carl Dickinson, Hitman Heaney and Lou Macari taking to the pitch once again.
Over the course of the 90-minute match, the Stoke City and Franklyn communities came together to raise vital funds for the Stoke City Foundation, which uses the power of sport to support children, young people, individuals with disabilities and the wider local community. Its programmes help improve physical health, support wellbeing and educate the Staffordshire community on the lifelong benefits of a healthy lifestyle.
As Platinum Partners of Stoke City FC, we are proud to work closely with the club and were keen to use the Franklyn Football Match as an opportunity to support the Foundation and its work within the local community.
The match, proudly sponsored by Property Maintenance Services (PMS), welcomed more than 200 supporters into the Franklyn Stand, giving fans the opportunity to see some of their Stoke City heroes back in action at the Bet365 Stadium.
Over £8,000 raised
Thanks to the incredible support of our players, sponsors, supporters and everyone involved, the match raised over £8,000 for the Stoke City Foundation, our biggest fundraising total since the event began.
Every penny raised will go directly towards supporting the Foundation’s work and the positive impact it has across the Staffordshire community.
